ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC)
has updated its 2009 schedule of certification and
seminar courses. Updated dates, locations and course
descriptions can be found at www.abycinc.org .
In addition to scheduled training, ABYC also offers
flat-rate, on-site training courses, seminars and custom
tailored technical education and training offerings that
can be hosted at any location upon request – both
nationally and internationally.
ABYC has partnered with several marine trade
associations to bring on-site training to their members
at a reduced rate. The Maine Marine Trades Association (MMTA)
and the Northwest Marine Trade Association (NMTA) are
two organizations that are taking advantage of the
on-site training program. For 2009, the MMTA has decided
to sponsor four on-site classes for their members, and
the NMTA is scheduling classes for 2009-2010.
Registration information and detailed descriptions for
any of the courses can be found at www.abycinc.org , or
