NMMA Hires New Show Manager for Two Chicago Boat and Sportshows

Keith Ogulnick to head established Chicago show and new Schaumburg venture

CHICAGO, October 11, 2006 – The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) announced today the hire of Keith Ogulnick as show manager for the Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show, as well as the recently introduced Schaumburg Boat & Sportshow. The 2007 Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show will be held January 17-21, 2007 at McCormick Place, while the inaugural Schaumburg Boat & Sportshow will debut February 14-18, 2007 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center. 

Ogulnick has more than 25 years of consumer and trade show experience. Prior to joining NMMA, Ogulnick was a show manager with Cygnus Enterprises in Burnsville, Minn., where he oversaw the development of several construction trade shows.

“Keith is an experienced professional in the consumer and trade show industry and we look forward to him joining our Chicago team,” said Mark Adams, NMMA vice president - sportshows. “He brings a great deal of show knowledge to this position and will help us continue to position the Chicago Boat, RV & Outdoors Show and the new Schaumburg Boat & Sportshow, as the premier outdoor show events in Chicago.”

Previously, Ogulnick served as vice president, education and events, for the Chicago-based Trade Show Exhibitors Association (TSEA). His responsibilities included direction of TSEA’s annual conference, TS2 – the Trade Show About Trade Shows, as well as all ancillary education such as audio conferences, web-based education, and stand-alone education programs.

Ogulnick, a Chicago native, was the former show manager for the Chicagoland Sportfishing, Travel & Outdoor Show for more than a decade. His past show experience also includes work with the National Sporting Good Association and Advanstar Communications.
