27' Catalac 8 Metre

http://www.yachtworld.com/edwardsyachtsales/

Overall This Catalac needs some TLC but is a good solid boat. Her rigging and hull appear to be in good condition. She is set up with a sloop rig with winches on the mast and on the cabin top in front of the cockpit. She only draws 2'4" which makes her a great FL/Bahamas boat. She is equipped with two stainless steel 35 gal water tanks which is much more that most boats her size. The sinks have manual Whale water pumps for the tanks. These boats have a remarkable amount of room and storage for a smaller vessel. Each hull has standing headroom and the main cabin is both a settee and berth. She is powered by a dependable 9.9 Yamaha four stroke and has wheel steering for the rudders. She is equipped with ground tackle and accessories. If you are looking for a project boat that has potential from a builder with a good reputation , this is the one.

Her flush deck allows for extremely easy movement on deck, and her raised sheer line offers the most interior space of any vessel in her size range. Her large center cockpit is easily entered from the wide deck and leads to one of the most beautiful interiors you will ever find. Her interior woodwork and joinery is a tribute to the famed Taiwanese craftsmanship found in expensive custom yachts. In addition, her interior well conceived layout gives the impression of a much large yacht. Upon entering the interior of the vessel, there is a large U-shaped galley to Port with NEW refrigeration system, and NEW stove. Opposite the galley to Starboard, is the forward facing Nav Station. Forward of the Galley is a comfortable Saloon with U-shaped Dinette to Port (which converts to a double berth), and straight settee to Starboard ( which converts to a single berth).
